Venison Stew
  1. Preheat the oven to 140’C
  2. In a large cast iron dish, heat the oil and fry the onion until soft. Add the venison and fry until the meat has browned. Stir in your vegetables and garlic and cook for 6-7 minutes to soften the veg slightly.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients, bring to the boil and then cover and cook in the oven for at least 2 hours – the longer the better!!
  4. Serve with some mash potato and seasonal greens.
